The Best Lawyers in America© has released its 2017 listings and continues to honor Kegler Brown’s construction law practice. Both Don Gregory and Mike Madigan extend their streak of consecutive years appearing in the “oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession,” according to Best Lawyers®.

Don has appeared in Best Lawyers since 2005. For the last two years, he has been awarded their “Lawyer of the Year” honor for the Columbus area: first for construction law in 2015, and then for construction litigation in 2016. Along with numerous other honors, Don continues to be one of the most prominent construction attorneys in Ohio.

Peers and clients alike have commented to Best Lawyers about Don’s expertise, describing him as “very knowledgeable in his field. He has the ability to grasp a situation quickly and offer sound advice on the spot.” Another commenter says, “Whenever called upon, Mr. Donald Gregory stands ahead of others in handling our complex and difficult cases. We never have to call Mr. Gregory for information as he always appears to be one step ahead of all the details. He is detail oriented and handles each case like it is the most important.”

Mike was first listed in Best Lawyers in 2014. With his recent recognition as an “Ohio Rising Star” in Law & Politics magazine and as an Up & Coming attorney by Chambers USA, Mike has built a strong reputation that continues to gain attention amongst peers and clients.

About Best Lawyers®

Since it was first published in 1983, Best Lawyers® has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Best Lawyers lists are compiled based on an exhaustive peer-review evaluation. Over 79,000 leading attorneys globally are eligible to vote, and they have received more than 12 million votes to date on the legal abilities of other lawyers based on their specific practice areas around the world. For the 2016 Edition of The Best Lawyers in America©, 6.7 million votes were analyzed, which resulted in more than 55,000 leading lawyers being included in the new edition. Lawyers are not required or allowed to pay a fee to be listed; therefore inclusion in Best Lawyers is considered a singular honor. Corporate Counsel magazine has called Best Lawyers “the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice.”
